These rods were designed to add fun and excitement to catching Kokanee using downriggers. The fine, light tips arc in downriggers for gentle line pickup and hook setting. The 5/D design allows Fish fighting control with Ultra Light fun. The lower butt section is beefy enough to allow you to pop the line off the downrigger release. This rod uses 11 of the smallest, lightest guides we could find to keep the line off the blank. All these features packed in a rod so light that it is a shame you have to put a reel on it.
